Our History
The local church in Oxford was formed in 1963. It is one of approximately 130+ other branches in the denomination spread across the UK. Our international headquarters (called Church of God) is in Cleveland, Tennessee USA, with churches in 180 countries and a membership of over 7 million. Our denomination may be described as protestant, evangelical, charismatic and Pentecostal. Our aim is to worship God, minister to one another and reach out to our community. Our vision is to be a church that embraces all nations living within the community, sharing the Good News and assisting in meeting their needs wherever possible. We endeavour to do this by living out the following core values.
Our Mission
To give ourselves to God in worship, to one another in love, so that we can reach, restore and disciple the lost.
Our Beliefs
The NTCG believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The NTCG has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.
We Believe:Our Vision
- To be authentic and vibrant in our worship, with a culture of giving praise, our time, gifts and service to God and others.

- To be a community that highly values of the Word of God and sound teaching – passionate about living by it; practising community – love and care for one another.
- To be a church that is present and active in its community responding to its needs.
